From Toronto and the GTA
GO Transit connects Toronto’s Union Station to Niagara Falls by train and bus. Leave the car and the QEW traffic behind.
Lakeshore West line
Ride the GO Train from Union Station straight to Niagara Falls, with daily service. The Niagara Falls GO Station is a short trip from the tourist district.
GO Bus routes
GO buses 11 and 12 also serve Niagara Falls, filling in when the train isn’t running. Both arrive at or near the Niagara Falls terminal.

Two bus systems cover Niagara Falls. Niagara Transit runs the city; WEGO runs the tourist core along the river. Which one you want depends on where you’re headed.

Here’s your next move, depending on where you’re going.
Cross to the bus terminal
The Niagara Falls Bus Terminal is right across the street. From there, Niagara Transit routes reach most of the city, neighbourhoods, shopping, and connections across the region.
Take the WEGO Green Line
Heading to the Falls, Clifton Hill, Fallsview or the attractions along the river? You’ll want WEGO, the visitor bus built for the tourist core.

Our local routes cover the city and connect Niagara Falls to the wider region, all on a standard $3.50 fare. Great for getting around town and beyond the tourist strip, though the attractions themselves are WEGO’s territory.
$3.50 — one fare, two hours of transfers
WEGO
The hop-on, hop-off visitor bus connecting the Falls, Clifton Hill, Fallsview, Niagara Parks attractions and the hotels. This is the one for sightseeing along the river. Run by Niagara Parks with its own fare.
$16–$20 — adult 24-hour / 48-hour pass
Switching between the two?
Niagara Transit’s Route 116/216 and the WEGO Blue Line meet at the Ramada Hotel on Stanley Avenue, so you can transfer between the city network and the tourist bus at one spot.

Three systems, three fares
Niagara is served by three transit operators, each with its own fare. One won’t pay for another, so here’s who does what.
Niagara Transit
Local routes across the city and the whole region, on one $3.50 fare.
Transit app, exact cash, 10-ride card or 31-day pass.
GO Transit
Gets you to and from Toronto and the GTA by train and bus.
Pay with PRESTO, the GO app, or GO tickets.
WEGO
The hop-on, hop-off visitor bus around the Falls and attractions. Runs several lines across the tourist core.
Buy a WEGO 24- or 48-hour pass.
Heads up: PRESTO doesn’t work on Niagara Transit
Your PRESTO card gets you here on GO, but it won’t pay your fare on Niagara Transit. On our buses, use the Transit app, exact cash ($3.50), a 10-ride card or a 31-day pass. WEGO has its own separate pass.
