HomeNiagara Transit Plus

Niagara Transit Plus is our commingled shared-ride service. Microtransit for areas without bus routes and Specialized Transit for riders with disabilities.

Niagara Transit Plus (NT+) is our flexible, shared ride service for trips that conventional buses can’t cover. You book your ride instead of catching a scheduled bus, and you may share the vehicle with other riders heading the same way.

Both parts of NT+ work as shared rides: the vehicle may pick up other passengers and adjust its route along the way. Whichever you use, you get the same regional network and the same simple fare.

The difference is who each one is for and how you get access. Microtransit is open to anyone in eligible areas, no sign-up needed. Specialized Transit is for residents whose disability prevents them from using regular buses, and it requires an application.

What both share

  • Booked through the NT+ app
  • Shared rides across the region
  • $3.50 fare, two hours of transfers
  • Kids 12 and under ride free
  • Wheelchair-accessible vehicles
  • Connects to conventional bus routes
