Overview Planning a smart, phased transitionNiagara Transit is carrying out a Fleet Electrification Strategy and Implementation Study to map out how we could move to lower-emission vehicles over time. The goal is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while keeping service reliable and getting the best value for regional taxpayers. The study is deliberately a study first. Rather than committing to a fixed number of vehicles up front, it looks at the options for a phased rollout of fleet and infrastructure, and stays flexible as the underlying technology keeps evolving. It's being done alongside our 10-year Master Plan so fleet and network decisions line up.
