Setting a decade's course One plan for one connected regionThe Facilities, Strategic Asset, and Service Network Master Plan is Niagara Transit's first long-term plan since amalgamation. Developed with consultant Left Turn Right Turn, it examines our infrastructure, routes, and operations to build the best possible network for the region's needs over the next decade. Overview Planning a smart, phased transitionNiagara Transit is carrying out a Fleet Electrification Strategy and Implementation Study to map out how we could move to lower-emission vehicles over time. The goal is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while keeping service reliable and getting the best value for regional taxpayers. The study is deliberately a study first. Rather than committing to a fixed number of vehicles up front, it looks at the options for a phased rollout of fleet and infrastructure, and stays flexible as the underlying technology keeps evolving. It's being done alongside our 10-year Master Plan so fleet and network decisions line up.
