About the Commission
Regional Council established the Niagara Transit Commission as a municipal service board under By-law 2022-38, passed on May 26, 2022, in accordance with the Municipal Act.
The Commission’s role is to bring the region’s formerly separate local transit systems together into one organization responsible for public transit across Niagara.
